Food, agriculture, fisheries and adjacent value chains in ASEAN. This is where our own capital, our staff and our government relationships are.
Partners who accept Japanese governance and reporting standards. If Japanese corporates or public funding are involved, documentation and traceability are not optional.
Advisors and individuals with a specific market or relationship. We work with a small number of people on a project basis. Tell us precisely what you bring.
We do not work on
Mandates whose only purpose is to secure a grant or subsidy. Public funding is an instrument, never the objective.
Deals requiring facilitation payments. No exceptions, in any country.
Introduction-only or brokerage requests. We do not sell access.
Projects with no local operating partner. If nobody on the ground is accountable, it is not a business yet.
Anything we cannot staff. We would rather decline than take a fee and under-deliver.
